Times Sportswoman of the Year currently has three cyclists…

The nomination process for The Times Sportswoman of the year is drawing to a close, but there’s still time to get your vote in for any yet-to-be-recognised personalities – for example downhill rider Rachel Atherton.

The current contenders list can be found here.

Although, nominations can still be made here.

The awards will be handed out at Lord’s Cricket Ground on February 12th.

Rachel Atherton’s achievements for 2008 should surely get her on the list. These were:

2008 World Cup Champion – Winning in an astonishing 11.99 seconds
Four World Cup Wins – Andorra, Canada (x2) and Austria
