The map section of the Sustrans website now has pull-down info – and some map links – on National Trust, English Heritage, RSPB, Soil Association, Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Cadw, Historic Scotland, YHA hostels and railway stations.
Clicking on the station links leads you to the National Train Enquiries timetable and
online booking forms.
More map links and info boxes will be added over time, including camping and caravan sites across the UK.
Dr Olly Watts, RSPB Conservation Officer, said:
"We hope more people will be able to visit RSPB nature reserves by bicycle on the National Cycle Network – it’s a great way to enjoy the countryside, hear the birds and have a good day out. And if you can leave the car behind for day, it’s something you
can contribute to a healthier environment."
