Fisher Outdoor Leisure’s house show Expo 2011 will once again lent its support to the Stay Strong cause with a charity ride on Sunday February 20th.
International cycle stars – including Steve Peat, Wendy Houvenagel and the Endura Racing team plus many more still to be confirmed – will take part alongside members of the cycle trade willing to pedal for Stay Strong. The ride is the second held as part of Fisher’s Expo (the first Expo Stay Strong ride pictured).
Stay Strong is the foundation set up on behalf of pro-BMXer Stephen Murray who was seriously injured in competition in 2007.
Murray has recorded a video message to Fisher and the bicycle trade, thanking both for supporting him and inviting participants to take part in the ride.
Two routes – one 12 miles and the other 30 miles – will be available for the rise. Every cyclist will receive a custom Stay Strong jersey redesigned for 2011. Long sleeve Stay Strong jackets will also be available for purchase for the first time.
Go to www.fisherexpo.co.uk to register or for more information on the ride.
