Solo clothing of New Zealand creates B2B ordering site

Solo Cycle Clothing of New Zealand has launched a business-to-business ordering website. It features the new autumn/winter range. The new items include gloves, overshoes, rain jackets, headwear, bibs and base-layers. The new items will join Solo’s existing range in their UK warehouse which ships directly to stores.

John Styles, sales manager for Solo in Europe, said:

"We are open for pre-orders but will also carry stock. We have next day delivery on 98 percent of our lines currently, and give retailers full visibility of stock levels on our B2B."

Solo has a team of sales agents.

"We have full coverage throughout the UK," said Styles. He added "our agents can assist with staff training, POS, range planning and merchandising. We’ve grown rapidly and are now stocked in 37 high quality IBDs across the country. We’re hoping to top out around the 60 stores mark as we don’t want to saturate the market.

"Our existing stores have enjoyed good sell-through, with many of them placing multiple repeat orders since
opening with us. Solo’s focus on high-quality IBD channels of sale has been
a key driver in this."

Solo’s UK warehouse also supplies the Eurozone market directly. Styles said Solo is seeking representation in Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
