Shortlist announced for London Cycling Campaign’s awards

London Cycling Campaign’s London Cycling Awards have received over 2,500 nominations in two weeks and have now been narrowed down to a shortlist of three in each category.

The awards, in association with London Evening Standard, are a celebration of cycling in the capital, showcasing new cycling initiatives, recognising cycling brands, and highlighting the best community and youth cycling projects.

LCC chief executive Ashok Sinha said: "Voting is now open for Londoners to cast their votes and applaud the people and the brands who’ve most inspired them over the last year.”

Winners will be announced by TV commentator Ned Boulting at a ceremony at St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, on 8th May.

Voting in the five public categories will run from 18th April until 1st May, with a further five awards being decided by LCC’s panel of experts.
