Sea Otter: Heated MTB grips revealed

A’ME has given the trade chance to get its hands on its US-made Heated Ergo Tri at Sea Otter this week.

The grips were a product of years of R&D and are a world-first, according to A’ME.

The grip features micro process technology and internal sensors that give the rider the option to adjust the grip to one of six temperature settings. An LED light indicates the setting.

The grips are made of a specially formulated Vulcathane compound, producing a tacky, durable surface with an ergonomic design and a triangle pattern for comfort.

A’ME said installation is simple – the grip simply has to be slid on and tightened with one screw.
