Industry veteran Scott Montgomery has joined Club Ride as its new CEO and partner.
Montgomery has previously worked for Scott Sports and was an investor in Lifeboat Events. The son of the founder of Cannondale, Montgomery founded Cannondale’s divisions in Europe and Japan.
Club Ride is an apparel company based in Sun Valley, Idaho. Currently it does not export its products but Montgomery will be seeking overseas distributon parners.
Montgomery said: "I’m excited to be involved with founder and partner Mike Herlinger and chairman and partner John Perenchio. We will work together to actively expand the scope of this company."
Montgomery first met Herlinger as a customer buying Club Ride’s Go West cycling jersey.
Perenchio said: "Scott has invested personal assets into the company and is completely committed to Club Ride’s mission: combining technical features and style to create performance cycling apparel for mountain biking, commuting and living a lifestyle built around the benefits of cycling."
