Scott issues recall of Vanish Evo helmets from 2015 model year

Scott of Switzerland is voluntarily recalling all 2015 models of its Vanish Evo bicycle helmets. These helmets do not comply with the impact requirements of the CPSC safety standards and also fail impact testing required under the CE1078: 2012 Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets.

This recall involves the following models:

Scott warns: "Riders wearing these helmets are not properly protected from falls, and could suffer severe head injuries. Consumers should immediately stop using the above listed helmet and bring the helmet to an official SCOTT dealer in order to have a full refund of the price paid."
