Saracen seeking new designer

Following the decision of Justin Stevenson to move from design to brand management, Saracen is now on the look out for someone to continue with the company’s progression with mountain, road and urban commuter ranges and the new sub brand, the Advanced Performance Series (APS).

A new designer is sought to inject fresh ideas and innovation to keep up the considerable momentum for the 2010 launch.

Commenting on his range, before leaving, Justin said: "My four years at Saracen were fantastic and I am particularly pleased with my work around the APS series. The multi award winning 2008 range was ground breaking and the effort I’ve put into 2009 will raise the bar yet further. The entire range is in terrific shape and ready for the next stage in its development."

Managing director of Saracen, Paul Stanforth said: "We were sorry to see Justin go, but understand that he wanted to pursue another direction in his career. He has certainly made his mark on the Saracen brand and the new 2009 range which we will launch this January is some of his finest work to date.

"We are now on the look out for a design expert ready to take on the challenge of continuing the momentum of the brand. We have had several best in tests and a finalist and runner up for Bike of the Year so there is no dispute about the current quality of the range. There are only a handful of people who have the right experience for this role, but we know they are out there and would be eager to talk to them."
