Robbie Williams has been spotted taking part in the cycling zeitgeist and visiting a bike shop in Swindon.
The store in question – Red Planet bike shop, based in Swindon’s Old Town – saw the impromptu visit from the international star, according to the Swindon Advertiser.
The pop crooner visited the store incognito, but eagle-eyed fans and passing shoppers still managed to spot Williams, leading one of his aides to request that the growing crowd would ‘give him some peace’.
Shop manager Freddie Platt confirmed the visit wasn’t planned: “He was a very nice man and a pleasant customer. I don’t think he particularly wanted too much attention. He just turned up out of the blue.
“I looked out the window and saw a horde of people.”
