Remotemarketing.co.uk enters bike market

Remote Marketing and PR Image and Communications Agency, founded by former-Gill Bikewear and Zyro marketing head Jane Watson, is heading into the cycle industry.

Since launching in March, the marketing consultancy business has carried out activities across the hospitality, property, automotive and outdoor markets and is now branching out.

"This is the perfect climate for an independent marketing freelance collective to thrive," said Watson. "After a tough 2011 for some, we are finding that things are showing positive recovery signs in the marketing trade, and for companies who don’t want to commit to employing full-time marketers, remote Marketing makes the perfect partner for project-based and interim aid.

"I understand the bike and outdoor market, am passionate about sport and even more about good marketing. We are open for business – big or small – whether you are looking to set up a new cycle enterprise, we can create you a comprehensive brand identity, deliver events, conduct proposition analyses, assist with new product development, market your products, represent your PR aspirations, design & deliver you a market-beating web site and now even refurbish and merchandise premises. Look no further."

Watson’s latest destination marketing project took place for Redwood Park, York. Amanda Chappell, partner at Redwood Park, commented: "Our partnership opened Redwood Park, a fishing lakes and conservation project in Yorkshire to the public over four years ago and while growth has been steady, it has not been as fast as we had hoped or needed.

"We recently began working with Jane Watson at Remote Marketing, who rapidly became an integral part of our new marketing effort. After meeting with the key partners and visiting our park, she completed a marketing study and a plan of action for our company way beyond anything we had envisaged and could have created ourselves. With Jane’s help, we have a multi-pronged approach to increasing our name recognition in our industry and drawing more anglers to our park."
