Raleigh opens doors for dealers in January

Raleigh is to open its Eastwood showroom to dealers in January, giving dealers the chance to meet brand managers, disccuss product and place orders.

The event sees the launch of Raleigh’s new Classic range, such as the Clubman, Sojourn and Classic De Luxe.

A full range of over 50 new Diamondback mountain, BMX, kids and 700c bikes will also be launched, including two new price point models – the wallet-friendly 29” Peak 29r at £450, and the Response, which comes in at £500 with a full Deore groupset and Rock Shox XC28 forks.

As well as these exciting new bike models, dealers will also get the chance to see Raleigh’s parts and accessories range featuring exclusive brands, such as Meqix maintenance products, High 5 nutrition, Dare 2b clothing, Moon lights, MOA clothing, Unior bike tools, Hermanns grips, Trion:Z ionic bands, Motorex lubes and care products, Vaude bags, Big Wipes cleaning products, Outland MTB parts, RSP road parts and the lights catalogue too.

Dealers will also be able to see products from other brands that Raleigh distributes, such as Schwalbe and Michelin tyres, SKS pumps, tools and guards, Slime puncture prevention fluid, Uvex glasses, Muc Off cleaners, KMC chains, Selle Royal saddles, and the latest addition to the Raleigh stable – Dahon folding bikes. Reps from all of these suppliers will be in attendance and one-to-one meetings can be set up.

Two rides have been scheduled for those looking to loosen up after the journey, including a session on the distributor’s electric bikes and two rides with Team Raleigh at 9.30am on both the Sunday and monday.

Phil Rickaby, Sales Director at Raleigh UK said: “We’re really excited about our new bikes and product ranges for 2012. There’s been loads of interest from dealers in lots of our exclusive lines so we can’t wait to open the doors.

“We’ll be offering some great dealer incentives, such as extended credit terms and exclusive order discounts. Plus dealers can find out about our Raleigh Service Centre programme, designed to help get more customers through the door, and how they can walk away with a free iPad2 or 22-inch LCD TV.

“2012 is a massive year for Raleigh. Not only is it our 125th anniversary, marking our status as one of the world’s oldest bike companies, but we’re also working on some exciting projects and fantastic new bike designs. More will be revealed at the show!”

Raleigh UK’s dealer show starts on Sunday 22 January at 10am and continues through Monday to Wednesday starting at 9am. Show ends at 5pm everyday.

Thursday 26 January sees a Cyclelife only day.

A show for Scottish dealers will take place at Murrayshall House Hotel in Perth on Sunday 12th and Monday 13th February 2012.
