Raleigh Bike Parts confirms Saris distribution deal

Raleigh Bike Parts has partnered with Saris to distribute its car racks, CycleOps trainers and PowerTap power meters.

The agreement will see Saris distributed from 1st August, followed by CycleOps and PowerTap from 1st October.

The trio will be Raleigh-exclusive across the UK, with eyes on the Saris Bones racks, which have sold over a million models since their launch in 2014.

CycleOps’ smart trainers aim to combine expertise and performance, and with home training on the rise in the UK, the partnership was deemed “a logical choice on both sides”.

Meanwhile, PowerTap offers a range of power measuring accessories. “[The brand is] the result of obsessive, in-depth research and development into performance; this range of chain rings, hubs and wheelsets, provide the dedicated cyclist with the level of insight they demand,” said a Raleigh statement.

Saris COO Jeff Frehner said: “We are incredibly excited to be working exclusively with Raleigh Bike Parts in the UK. They have such a great team and a fantastic network of dealers, which made our partnership an easy decision. They fully understand our brands, our businesses and the message we want the UK to hear.”

According to Raleigh, the addition of the Saris brands further reinforces its commitment towards offering the UK cycling retailer a “total one-stop-shop solution”.

“Joining forces with Saris in this new partnership is fantastic news for us and our growing network of trade accounts,” said Pippa Wibberley, Raleigh UK managing director.

“With such an amazing line-up of brands in the portfolio, the Saris products offer the quality, expertise and innovation that the ‘enthusiast’ cycling consumer demands.

“With these brands, we’re able to ensure we’re providing our dealer’s and their customers with the very latest, forward-thinking, innovative products that will enable them to stand-out from the crowd.”
