Rouleur’s fat tyre cousin Privateer is to go bi-monthly, much thanks to the success of the launch issue, which is now completely sold out.
“There’s a loose handful of issues left with our retail partners and we have one or two locked in the drawers of our desks against a price surge on eBay, but the big picture is that people liked it a lot and it’s gone,” says Manley.
Following that success, Privateer will now come out every two months. Issue two is on sale now, with features on the underlying geology of the world’s finest trails, the history of titanium mountain bikes and asks just what trials has to do with mountain biking. You’ll also find contributions from Charlie Kelly, Steve Peat and Rob Penn and shots from leading MTB photographers.
“The mix of features is impressive, unexpected, glorious to look at and infuriating in parts, as you might expect having read issue one,” adds Manley, “But we’re proud of the result and we’re sure readers will enjoy it just as much as the first issue.”
