Polar’s Javier Gómez Noya Special Edition advanced GPS sport watch

To celebrate their time training together with Ironman 70.3 World Champion Javier Gómez Noya, Polar has launched a special edition of the Polar V800.

A long-time Polar user himself, Gómez Noya has relied on Polar products in his training for years already. “As an elite triathlete, I need the right training and racing gear to reach my full potential. Polar gives me the best range of products to guide and monitor my training in all three disciplines: swimming, biking and running,” he commented.

The V800 offers real-time guidance in every sport you do. It combines your training load with 24/7 activity, and shows your true recovery status.

The V800’s newest features include measuring running cadence and speed, and distance from the wrist, without any additional sensors. Paying attention to running cadence helps improve efficiency and avoid injuries. A low cadence, for example, could indicate that you’re overstriding, putting undue stress on your body.

The Javier Gómez Noya Special bundle, designed with triathletes in mind, includes the Polar V800, H7 heart rate sensor, CS cadence sensor Bluetooth Smart and Universal Bike Mount.

The all-black Polar V800 is now available globally, and the red Polar V800 will hit the UK market at the end of June, retailing at £339.00.

Polar launches M450 Special Edition product set

With the cycling season well underway and the Tour de France just around the corner, Polar have launched the M450 Special Edition product set complete with an additional red back cover and the new state-of-the-art front bike mount.

The additional back cover allows the M450 to match with a wider range of frame colours, whilst two different bike mounts ensure the M450 fits onto any bike stem.

The compact Polar M450 still includes a wealth of features designed to support all riding styles and goals at an affordable price. It is now also possible to integrate the M450 with Strava via the latest Flow update (simply sync your device with Flow), and your information will automatically transfer to Strava.

The M450 Special Edition is now available globally at £169.50.
