Pivot Cycles introduces new Shuttle e-MTB

Pivot Cycles has introduced the new Shuttle, an updated ‘superlight and ultra-capable’ full carbon frame, new specification, and two models with a new lower price option.

It has 29in wheels and longer 160mm travel Fox 36 fork with 44mm offset. Pivot Cycles has said the updated specification makes the Shuttle “one of the lightest e-MTBs on the market”, with the Shuttle Team weighing 20.29kg and the Shuttle Race weighing 0.68kg more.

The two new models are built with the same full carbon Shuttle frame. Shuttle Race is an XT level build and features Shimano’s STEPS E7000 drive unit, an XT drivetrain and Performance level Fox suspension. The Shuttle Team is built with Shimano’s STEPS E-8000 drive unit, the new 12-speed XTR mechanical drivetrain and Factory level Fox suspension with Kashima coatings.

“Since day one, riders have been loving the Shuttle but asking for a more affordable version,” said Chris Cocalis, president and CEO of Pivot Cycles. “I am pleased that this day is finally here, and we did it while significantly improving the bike at the same time and the Shuttle Team model really takes that performance up yet another notch.”

The Shuttle is available as a complete bike in two different models. The Shuttle Race XT comes in black with sterling silver graphics and retails in the UK for £6,999. The Shuttle Team XTR comes in the steel blue colour and retails at £9,099.
