Pedal-Pedal takes on ‘Tron-style’ Revolight City Wheels

Pedal-Pedal has signed an exclusive agreement to distribute Revolights City Wheels in the UK.

The innovative lighting technology is permanently built into custom-designed wheels and first came to our attention when it smashed its crowd-funding target back in 2011.

UK availability is exclusively through Pedal-Pedal, an online and telephone specialist cycling accessories retailer. The first shipment of Revolights City Wheels has just arrived in the UK.

"Revolights’ radically new approach to bicycle visibility is not only going to make night time riding much safer it’s going to get bikes noticed," said Richard Grigsby, founder of Cyclescheme. "That visibility will spawn thousands of conversations which will raise cycling’s profile in the wider community."

Kent Frankovich, co-founder and inventor of Revolights, said: "We’re announcing today first availability in the UK of our stunning new City Wheels. With 360° visibility and forward light projection, Revolights City Wheels provides a dramatic improvement for cycling safety over traditional bike lights. They require minimal installation and incorporate superb design, making Revolights accessible to even more riders."

Tim Wort, founder of Pedal-Pedal, added: "Since we started the business in 2012, we’ve focused on bringing the most ground-breaking cycling products from around the world to UK cyclists. We’ve been testing these for months and have been blown away with the innovation and functionality of Revolights City Wheels."

The Revolights City Wheels cost £399.00.
