Oxford Products honoured at Oxford Business Awards

Oxford Products scored two prestigious awards at the Oxfordshire Business Awards 2018, held at the John Henry Brookes building at Oxford Brookes University.

The first was The NatWest Large Business Award, which was open to companies that employ more than 25 staff and have a turnover of more than £5 million.

Judges were looking for business growth, commitment to the local community, strategic vision and evidence of the ability of the management team to drive the business forward.

The second award that the Witney company won was The Hays Employer of the Year Award. This award was judged on how employees have been engaged in the company’s strategic goals and values, the investment that the company has placed in its employees, the collaborative nature of the management teams with evidence of impact and performance, plus how the company stimulates its workforce to enjoy their work and perform well in the workplace.

Oxford Products’ MD Andrew Hammond commented on the wins: ‘’We are extremely proud of our achievements, particularly with the Hays Employer of the Year award. The finalists in both categories were really heavy hitters which makes our achievements even more important to us as a company.’’

Oxford has enjoyed double-digit annual growth for over a decade, during which time the company diversified into new markets, established a US subsidiary and purchased two other businesses. In 2018, the team celebrates 45 years in business.
