Mick Hibbert of Motorvation International Ltd. would like to hear from bike trade companies who could help develop a zero emission, lightweight vehicle.
The patented compressed air motor is powered by a standard 40 litre industrial cylinder of nitrogen. To prove the motors efficiency, Motorvation International welded together two mountain bikes to make a side-by-side vehicle that powered two people at 17km/h for 5km.
The compressed air cylinder is heavy and cumbersome but slung beneath a Brox/Pick-up type recumbent could be an alternative to electric assistance.
