The Newport, Shropshire, event is up-close racing, at night. It’s sponsored by mail-order firm Parker International and newspaper The Shropshire Star.
As well as the past masters race and the elite race there will be a One Lap Challenge for Olympic track medallists.
"This promises to be the most exciting event of the evening," said race organiser Nick Jeggo.
"Some of these riders don’t normally compete on the open road and it should be interesting to see who comes out on top."
Jeggo is seeking more trade support:
"We still have opportunities for sponsorship of anything from lap prizes, £50 upwards, and banners, £50-£100, right the way up to sponsorship of one of the three races at £5000. With 14,000 spectators there can be few better ways to access the cycling public."
Parker International bring along Sean Kelly to ride the past masters event.
