The National Trust is seeking tenders for its new Lanhydrock Cycle Hub, near Bodmin.
In January 2013 the National Trust was awarded planning permission to develop 10km of off-road cycling trails at Lanhydrock. The trails will be suitable for novice, intermediate riders and families and fit with the Trust’s sims to improve and diversify people’s access and enjoyment of its land.
Plans include the building of a cycle hire, café, playground, skills area, increased parking and a new access route which reinstates the 18th century carriage drive. The facilities will be fully open from February 2014.
The scheme provides an opportunity for a suitable candidate to work alongside the Trust, operating the cycle hire facility.
Details of the opportunity can be found by downloading the tender document here. Alternatively, more information is available from the project manager on angela.proctor@nationaltrust.org.uk or 07990 566212.
The deadline for tender submission is noon on Monday August 19th 2013.
