Mum starts kid hi-viz biz

Juli Abensour of Cambridge, a mother of two toddlers, has created Vizzkids to market a range of hi-visibility cycling products to make children more visible. Her first product is a fluoro-yellow cover for child seats, emblazoned with ‘child on board’.

Most child cycle seats are either black or grey and strapped-in children are not visible. The Vizzkids child seat cover has a mesh zip pocket and a clear pocket for loading a rear LED light.

The Vizzkids cover retails for £18.99 and is manufactured in the UK.

Three more products are in development, said Abensour.
