Muc-Off goes exclusive with Fisher

Muc-Off and Fisher Outdoor Leisure have announced an exclusive distribution agreement for the UK from May 1st.

The agreement marks a return to the exclusive relationship that the two companies shared up until 2008.

Fresh from a visit to Muc-Off HQ in Poole which saw over 20 staff from Fisher’s commercial team receive technical and hands-on training across the 2015 range, Fisher will be out selling the brand from today with stock immediately available.

James Browning, Fisher CEO, said: “Muc-Off is a great brand with an amazing heritage, incredible products and a fantastic brand image. The team at Muc-Off have done a superb job in building the range to comprehensively cover the cleaning, protection, lube and rider care categories and the Fisher team are really excited to be working with Muc-Off to help bring these products alive right across the UK IBD market. The commitment of Muc-Off to developing innovative, specialist products means that the brand deserves to be supported by specialist distribution that can help to bring these technologies to life at the point of sale.

"Fisher will be rolling out an unprecedented level of support to those retailers who aspire to offer first class specailist service to the enthusiast bike market and we are incredibly excited to be working with Alex and the rest of the Muc-Off team. The Muc-Off relationship with Team Sky is driving their product development to amazing new levels which means it’s a great time to be working with them.”

Muc-Off MD Alex Trimnell commented: “We are all very excited to be working in an exculsive partnership again with Fisher Outdoor Leisure. This new agreement will help us to develop the next siginificant growth phase of the Muc-Off Brand in the UK IBD market and develop both our consumer experience and dealer support to a new category leading level. As a business we have always invested heavily in innovation, working closely with the Worlds best racers and teams but the missing link has often been comummicating this at dealer level so we are thrilled to work with Fishers team to achieve this in the coming weeks and months. Dealer support is at the heart of our plan so we can’t wait to roll it out and get going!”

Fisher will be stocking the full Muc-Off range and said it aims to give its dealer base unrivalled service across a number of areas including instore POS, technical training, merchandising support, stock availability, free delivery and Team Sky link ups.

Dealers interested in becoming a Muc-Off ambassador store should contact their Fisher Account Manager, b2b.fisheroutdoor.co.uk or call sales on 01727 798 345.
