MTB Parts to bring Prowell Helmets to the UK

MTB Parts has secured exclusive distribution rights to Prowell Helmets in the UK.

Claiming to have a proprietary molding technique, Prowell believe they’ve found a new method to create deeper ventilation channels and reduce weight. Called ISC technology the inside-out scooping moulding method is exclusive to Prowell’s EPU In-Mold2 production.

Furthermore, ISC’s creation, we’re told, has helped the manufacturer make strides in heat disipation and profiling, with a thinner, more compact shell being one of the perks.

Safety credentials aren’t lacking either – Prowell’s ‘Web-Rib ‘Strut’ enlarges the contacting area to the wearer’s head and releases impact pressure evenly, accomplishing a higher safety level and a more secure/comfortable fit.

Citing the 17,000 cyclists injured on the UK’s roads annually, Phil Gray managing director of MTB Parts said: ‘The Prowell Helmets are a new, modern and unique design to the UK safety market that offers something different."

Prowell helmet also offers a ‘shark fin’ LED for its helmets, which can be seen from all directions and is attached via a simple quick release mechanism. Prices start at £18.99 retail and top out at £69.99.
