Leisure Lakes gets behind elite race team

Leisure Lakes Bikes has become a co-sponsor of Team Herbalife, with bikes and equipment supplied by Specialized.

Team Herbalife-Leisurelakesbikes.com will be entering the 2012 road racing season after a superb 2011 season, finishing 4th overall in the national rankings.

The squad will be competing in major events such as The Tour Series, The National Elite Circuit Series and of course The Premier Calendar road races.

Leisure Lakes Tim Noy told BikeBiz: "We are very excited about this venture and can’t wait for the season to begin, and we wish all the riders the best of luck for 2012. Leisure Lakes Team Coordinator is Matt Chester, manager of the Bury shop and keen road cyclist.

The 14 rider strong team will be using the latest Specialized Tarmac Pro, kitted out with SRAM RED groupsets and SRAM wheels.
