Ison brings Gloworm to the UK

Ison has taken on distribution duties for LED cycling light brand Gloworm after approaching the brand to fill a gap in the market and their own product offerings.

Gloworm hails from New Zealand, being designed and engineered in the territory. Established around four years ago, the brand has three models and a fourth on the way. The flagship of the range fits into the palm of your hand and emits 2200 lumens (as measured by www.mtbr.com) while the smallest in the Gloworm stable weighs 6.3oz.

The range of products are all machined from high quality aluminium alloy and protected with hard anodising. All lights can be submerged for short periods, ensuring their suitability for UK conditions.

Co-founders Vaggelis and Bruce are excited about the partnership and will be on hand at Core Bike 2015 to promote and demonstrate the product.

The design ethos of the company is to provide riders with high quality, high lumen and low weight lighting at a competitive price: "It was once said that when referring to a cycling product you can pick two of the following three traits: lightweight, strong, well-priced – you can’t have all three…until now."

Ison marketing manager Matt Andrews, Marketing Manager said: “Gloworm represents innovation and customer engagement. They are a professional company that are really beginning to make waves in the industry. It will be a pleasure to add Gloworm to our portfolio and partner with such a driven group of people.”

Ison will be the exclusive distributor for Gloworm products for UK, Ireland and Germany. European countries not yet represented may also make enquiries through Ison.
