The discounts are off 2004’s published rates.
A major part of the expense of exhibiting at US shows is the intra-expo booth materials schlepping, known as drayage. For 2005, the drayage costs will be reduced by up to 22 percent.
GES’ labour charges will be 15 percent cheaper. And there are other discounts.
"Beyond delivering a focused trade event for the industry, the new Interbike/GES discount program will provide a financial break to exhibitors – ultimately increasing the return on their investment," said Lance Camisasca, Interbike show director.
"We continue to look for ways to make Interbike more affordable for our exhibitors. These discounts will make a big difference in the overall cost of participating – without lowering GES service standards, the working atmosphere or the Interbike experience."
