Hotlines appoints new heads of sales and marketing

Edinburgh based distributor Hotlines has appointed David Flynn to the role of sales manager.

Flynn will be responsible for developing UK and European sales for the company.

Having spent two years with Hotlines in a brand management position, the firm said he has a good overview of the portfolio and understands the long term strategy for dealer support.

Having experience in sales, events, marketing and brand management roles, Flynn has worked for a bike brand and corporate retailer, and as an experienced rider himself, combines a passion for product with strong technical knowledge.

Flynn will be based in the South Queensferry office overseeing the internal sales team and the territory managers out on the road.

Flynn said: “It’s been a good two years working in a brand management role for Hotlines and we have a fantastic portfolio. I’m excited to move into a sales role and join the team in pushing Hotlines forward as the business evolves”.

New Head of Marketing
Hotlines has appointed Declan Deehan as head of marketing.

Deehan comes from the sales side of Hotlines and has worked closely with the marketing team for six years. He too is a very enthusiastic rider with a history of racing and a love for all things two wheels.

Deehan will be based in sunny Bristol and responsible for anything from trade and consumer shows, advertising, demo events and generally giving the consumer the best chance to get hands on with Hotlines products.

Deehan said: “This is a great opportunity for me and I have had a lot of fun in the last 6 years working for Hotlines. I’m looking forward to what will be a challenging role and what the next 6 years have in store.”

Hotlines deliver a wide selection of products from over 50 brands including Lapierre, Ghost, Nukeproof, Lynskey, NS Bikes and Ragley. Having added a raft of 20-inch product to the portfolio, Hotlines now service all dealer needs across road, mountain, e-bike and BMX.
