Havebike has announced its acquisition of London-based onsite bicycle servicing company Ultimate Bikes.
Ultimate Bikes currently operates in and with various large-scale London-based companies and buildings including the BBC, several of London’s ‘Magic Circle’ law firms, leading investment banks and blue chip property companies.
The acquisition extends Havebike’s collect and return service to Ultimate Bikes’ customers, who can now also have their bicycle collected from home or office, serviced at havebike’s workshop and returned, for no extra charge.
Founder and managing director of Ultimate Bikes Simon Bucknall will join the combined new company, trading under the havebike brand, as operations director Nick Brown will continue as managing director.
Brown said: “Simon and Ultimate Bikes have done a great job in building a fantastic reputation and client base together with developing some innovative technology to benefit the consumer. We are delighted to be able to build on that good work and welcome aboard Ultimate Bikes’ staff, customers and suppliers."
Bucknall added: “I am very excited to be joining forces with havebike who have very similar values and a focus on customer service and quality and looking forward to working with a great team to drive the business forward to benefit the ever growing cycling community."
