Halfords signs up to 14 Sky Ride events

Starting with Plymouth on May 25th, the wide ranging Sky Ride programme of traffic-free cycle rides will be back for 2014.

Halfords has been confirmed as the Official Mechanics Partner at this year’s events, which are expected to see over 100,000 cyclists of all ages and abilities.

The 2014 Sky Ride programme:

  • Plymouth – 25th May
  • Bolton – 1st June
  • Leeds – 15th June
  • Southampton – 29th June
  • Newcastle – 2nd August
  • Manchester – 3rd August
  • Sheffield – 10th August
  • Hull – 17th August
  • Leicester – 24th August
  • Ipswich – 31st August
  • Liverpool – 7th September
  • York – 14th September
  • Coventry – 21st September
  • Bradford – 28th September

Halfords cycle mechanics teams will come from different Halfords stores for each event, servicing bikes and assisting with essential adjustments, cabling and inner tube replacements, free of charge. The team of mechanics will be providing servicing and support at over 30 events this year.
