Green Oil suffers break-in

Green Oil has announced the details of a break-in to the brand’s facility in Brixton, London.

The only major item stolen was the Green Oil Orange Ms Isle test bike, which featured in the brand’s videos hosted by Anna Glowinski, in various magazines and on BBC’s investor programme Dragons Den.

Along with the financial frustrations of replacing the bike, Green Oil’s Simon Nash stated that the bike was “well used and has sentimental value".

The brand is offering a cash reward of £100 for its safe return, plus £150 worth of Green Oil products. Useful information on location, the thief’s identity and address may also be rewarded.

Key features on the bike included Ergon eco grips, a DMR chain and pedals, a recently broken Atom Lab rear wheel, Hope hydraulic brakes and a Bontrager front wheel.

“Perhaps you’ll see it on your local trail or someone cycling on it,” said Nash in a circulated reward poster (below). “Please take a snap and tweet us. Or get it for us Batman Style for a cash reward.”

If you have any information on the break in, contact Green Oil on 020 7274 872.
