Welsh Olympic cycle star Geraint Thomas cut the ribbon on the trade day of Cycle Show 2011, the first for the show at its new NEC home.
Tomorrow the consumer show gets started, the final day being Sunday October 2nd.
As well as its new home, this year Cycle Show has a brand new Mountain Bike Demo Track plus test tracks for kids, road bikes and the traditional cycle arena and BMX area.
There’s a taster of what can be seen at the show here, which you can also find in the latest edition of BikeBiz.
We’ve got an interview with Geraint Thomas here.
If you weren’t there in person to see Geraint get the trade day started, watch the video below, filmed by BikeBiz’s own Mark Sutton.
