Gallery: The Cycle Show highlights

Couldn’t bare the thought of leaving the saturday lad in charge of the shop in order to make the trip to the Cycle Show? Well, have no fear, BikeBiz sent in the paparazzi and a gallery from the show floor is now live here.

A few key pointers from the show that’ll be of interest to retail:

  • Extra has revealed that, for the first time, they will offer Intense Bikes as complete builds
  • Transition Bikes are now landing with Windwave who have paired BM7 displays to create some tidy tailored POS stands for the bike’s presentation
  • The Stique multitool, as reported on by BikeBiz while generating Kickstarter funds, has now launched and the business is considering its distribution options, as well as working on further items for the bike market…
  • Hope has a new line of direct mount stems spanning 10, 30, 40, 50 and 60mm
  • DMR has created ‘Alpine Division’ branding to cover its all mountain goods, with dirt items now found under the ‘Sect’ banner. Check out some fresh cranks, a wheelset and new saddles in our gallery.
  • Fibrax joins the many industry brands now with its own 3D printer. At a cost of £100,000, the new unit will allow for faster prototyping for its plastic and rubber goods.
  • Basso is now found with Northern Ireland’s SoCycle
  • Electra is expecting a significant uplift in 2015, having marketed its bikes at numerous high profile concerts, charitable events, as well as placing numerous celebrities on its bikes in the past few months.
  • Whyte has significantly increased its catalogue, adding a carbon road bike into the mix, as well as numerous commuter and leaisure models for men and women.

There’s plenty more to come from the Cycle Show, but for now, have a flick through our gallery here.
