Fisher reveals Expo talks and demos

Fisher Outdoor Leisure has announced the seminars running at its Expo house show next week.

Sessions on Kansi, SRAM, other products and marketing will be on offer for attending dealers.

On Tuesday 21st, Dan Williamson – from digital marketing agency Cimex – will be running a seminar called ‘Smart online retailing ideas for the independent specialist’. The session will be looking at how customers online buying behaviour has changed and what that means for retailers. Williamson will also be sharing research and trends from Google and explaining how this will impact on the IBD sector. Participants will also receive tips on improving customer experience and converting online interactions into sales.

Fisher will also be running a Kansi Launch Seminar where dealers will be taken through what Fisher has been doing with the brand since July, and plans for the relaunched brand in 2012.

The SRAM Technical Centre will be running daily demonstrations on the most popular service procedures. The sessions, which will be taking place in the World Cup support truck, focus on lower leg servicing of RockShox forks and bleeding of Reverb seatposts and Avid brakes. Dealers are urged to bring their workshop managers to take full advantage of the STC’s knowledge.

Two eagerly awaited products will have on-stand product talks from the experts at the show. The Keo Power pedals take power measurement to the next level in terms of weight and flexibility and have generated a huge amount of press interest. Pascal Navarro from Look will also be running demonstrations of the pedals twice a day and showing retailers how to get the most from the product.

Tacx will demonstrate version 4 of its software alongside demos of the new Genius trainer over twice daily sessions.

“We have a great seminar line up this year at Expo," said Mike Cook, sales and brand director. "The Cimex session can be useful to all our dealers no matter what their size or the scale of their current online presence. I’m thrilled that an agency as experienced and as successful as Cimex can come to Expo to share their knowledge with our IBDs. We are also keen to share the in-depth product knowledge from brands such as SRAM, Tacx and Look so dealers can pass this on to their customers and get the most from the show.”

The full list of seminars and a guide to Expo can be downloaded here.

Cimex are a digital agency who have worked with clients including HSBC, The BBC and many other household brands over the last ten years.

The Fisher Outdoor Leisure Expo Show runs from February 20th – 22nd at Sopwell House, St Albans. Dealers can register at www.fisherexpo.co.uk
