Fisher lines up new sales recruits

Distributor Fisher Outdoor Leisure has created two new sales roles dedicated to the LOOK and Muc-Off brands.

Alan Lewis (pictured) joins in the newly created role of Look Bikes UK Sales Manager. LOOK’s bikes programme continues to grow and as it becomes a bigger part of the Fisher business it makes sense, Fisher said, to invest in a dedicated resource to manage this growth with the UK IBD channel.

Lewis joins us with 11 years of sales account management experience having spent the last 12 months in the bike trade with NRG4 Cycling. A keen cyclist, Lewis has represented Team GB in triathlon alongside completing various Ironman and long distance events. Later this month he is about to embark on a challenge to climb the height of Everest (by bike) in one day (29,000 feet!).

He will assume overall responsibility for the sales and marketing of Look bikes/frames and will work closely alongside the Territory Account Managers in each region.

Lewis will be supporting retailers with staff training sessions to help boost sales, demo days and evening rides, off site staff riding experiences to help them experience Look Bikes plus ensuring the brand presences continues to grow across all media channels.

A new range of Look bikes is launching later this year with some fantastic dealer margins, according to the brand. Alan Lewis can be reached at alan.lewis@fisheroutdoor.co.uk or 07826870239.

In other recruitment news at the distributor, David Price has re-joined Fisher in the newly created Muc-Off field representative role. Price is no stranger to Fisher having previously worked as an internal account manager before taking time off to spend the winter season in the Alps.

Price will be focusing on supporting retailers with the Muc-Off brand in store and will initially be covering territories across the Midlands and North. Since becoming the exclusive distributor for Muc-Off in the UK, Fisher has seen sales explode, it revealed. This role is to provide support for retailers with merchandising, workshop and sales staff training as well as ensuring the Muc-Off clean, lube, protect message is communicated to the trade. David Price can be contacted at david.price@fisheroutdoor.co.uk

The distributor added: "Business is going well at Fisher and this recent hiring spree further demonstrates the successful impact of a growing brand portfolio and the strength of their IBD sales. Fisher is also planning further recruitment and brand announcements over the next few months."
