Josh Hon, Dahon’s VP of sales and marketing, won’t be specific about what’s new for the show but he said: "New models include several new folding bikes, more Mini Bikes and a handcrafted steel touring bike incorporating Ritchey’s Break-Away technology."
The tease added: "Other new and exciting confidential products include an ultra-compact folder and new drivetrain technology."
While visitors to the trade-only show will be feasting their eyes on all this novelty, some will be getting in line for Dahon loaner bikes, free to use for the duration of the show.
"Many show visitors stay beyond walking distance of the World Trade Centre and the taxi queue is crazy. In order to make the commute easier, Dahon will be offering loaner bikes on a first-come-first-served basis to visitors," said Hon.
The Dahon booth will also be as eco-friendly as possible.
"We’re making a conscious effort to minimize waste, and to re-use and recycle wherever possible," said Hon.
"This includes Schwalbe’s recycled flooring through to re-usable reception desks, banners, posters, and product information sheets."
