Dahon.com is registered to Dahon & Hon Industrial Labs with the tech contact being Josh Hon. Hon has now started a new folding bike brand, Tern.
The official Dahon website has now been switched to Dahonbikes.com.
Dahon has also created a new Twitter feed, @Dahonbikes. The old one – @dahonfolding – has not been updated since 30th May.
In a company statement, Dahon said the name switch was part of a four-phase project:
"Phase I has just been launched, introducing Dahon’s new look and feel. Phase II, the structural redesign of the site, is set to go live in February 2012. This phase will feature a multi-lingual platform with a completely new navigational structure. Phases III and IV will include a secure login area for dealers, distributors and members of the media, an interactive community network, a dealer locator, and online service support."
