Future Publishing has updated its Cycling News phone application following a consultation with its users on what features should be added or tweaked.
Having seen 29,000 downloads since its launch in December last year, the mark two application has now launched, ahea dof the target date of May 8th when the Giro D’Italia begins.
Downloads, available thorugh Apple’s app store, are still free of charge.
Mark Cantwell, digital associate publisher for Future’s sports portfolio said: “We initially soft launched the application to let the loyal CyclingNews users play around with it and feed back their requirements to us. That feedback was fairly unanimous – “Love the app, but where are the race reports?” So that’s what we’ve added. We believe in user-driven development and will continue to refine and reshape all elements of Cyclingnews.com to satisfy the needs of our global audience.”
