CycleSurgery’s 18th store opens next month

CycleSurgery is to open a new cycle outlet in Great Portland Street, London, at the end of July. The 4,000 square foot store will be the retailer’s 18th in the UK and Ireland, and its 9th stand-alone shop in central London.

Ahead of the opening, CycleSurgery has opted to close the concession outlet in Selfridges on Sunday July 5th, as CycleSurgery Head of Marketing Kevin Young explained to BikeBiz: “After seven years of successful trading from our concession in Selfridges our new Great Portland St store gives us the perfect opportunity to grow our business in this busy part of London."

The firm promises that the new outlet will have all the elements that customers have come to expect from CycleSurgery.

Young added: “We hope our existing Selfridges customers will find the new store more convenient as well as much bigger, better stocked and with better service facilities. And of course we hope to gain many new customers too.”

CycleSurgery is looking for a number of new employees to staff the new store, including workshop mechanic and sales positions.

The latest in CycleSurgery’s growing retail empire, the new store is located 150 metres from Oxford Street and two minutes from Oxford Circus, with a particular focus on the growing commuter market.
