Thames & Hudson has revamped the £6.99 Cyclepedia app with extra features.
The update is free for those who already own a copy.
As well as 26 more historic bikes (increasing the total number to 126) there are shot-for-the-app video clips with Sir Paul Smith discussing cycling culture. There’s also a 360 degree, three-dimensional view of his studio.
The app also now includes 85 recent and historic signed racing jerseys and there’s an addition of rare archival racing footage, including from the Tour de France.
Tech-close ups now include a finger-swipe controlled animation explaining the workings of the real derailleur.
