Cycle Republic introduces new tech centre

Specialist cycling retailer Cycle Republic, now with 12 shops across the UK, has partnered with Garmin and launched a new technology centre in its flagship shop at Fenchurch Street, London.

The recently-installed Garmin centre is the first in the UK with a dedicated cycling technology display. The centre is fully equipped with a large high-level LCD screen showcasing product features, complimented by a comprehensive play table.

The range includes the Varia Radar the world’s first cycling radar, Varia smart lights, VIRB action cameras, and a host of Cycling GPS models, including the new Edge 820 equipped with the technology to keep tabs on the competition.

Commenting on the new centre, Cycle Republic Managing Director Peter Kimberley said: ”We are delighted to have partnered with Garmin, the leading brand in cycling technology, to bring our customers an enhanced in-store experience. The initial feedback from our shop team, and more importantly our customers, has been incredible; providing them with the ease to choose the right product for them.”

Garmin Marketing Manager Richard Daish commented: ”Technology is growing significantly within the UK cycling market so it is fitting to launch our new tech centre. Cycle Republic is currently experiencing significant growth, with an emphasis on quality and service making them the perfect fit for this centre to enhance the needs of the Garmin customer.”
