The Driven to Extinction? conference will examine the role transport planners can play in reducing CO2 emissions by encouraging cycling and walking and use of public transport.
Chaired by cyclist Jon Snow, theconference will bring together leading players from all sides of the transport spectrum, including David Begg, director of the Centre for Transport Policy, John Mumford OBE, of BP and Dr Mayer Hillman, of the Policy Studies Institute and author of "How we can save the planet".
The conference also marks the first 10 years and 10 000 miles of the National Cycle Network.
The fee per delegate is £299 + VAT with concessions for local authorities and registered charities.
