Catlike announces the end of Pro Tour team sponsorship

Catlike has announced that after 20 years sponsoring the first-level teams and the past six years sponsoring the Movistar team, it will change its marketing strategies and cease sponsorship for the next season.

“From the whole Catlike team, we want to thank those cyclists that have given us so much during these 20 years," commented Pepe del Ramo, general manager at Catlike.

"We believe that we have accomplished a very important cycle in our history and, without dismissing a return in the future, we have taken into consideration the need to adapt ourselves to the new times and technologies."

“After six years together, we want to openly show our gratitude to the Movistar Team and all the staff of Abarca Sports for all the moments shared and for the effort of all the riders that have been part of the team during these six seasons. Our best wishes for the future and more success to come.”

The company will announce possible new marketing avenues and projects in early 2017.
