Canadian trade show moves up the rankings

The ranking among the 50 largest tradeshows in Canada is published annually by Tradeshow Week, the Canadian tradeshow industry’s mag.

The 2004 edition of ExpoCycle has been ranked number 24 out of the over 300 tradeshows held in Canada, based on statistics that include total square footage, number of exhibitors and visitors.

ExpoCycle is organised by the Bicycle Trade Association of Canada, BTAC.

Janet O’Connell, BTAC’s executive director, said:

"The growth we have enjoyed is a reflection of our success at establishing ExpoCycle as a must attend event for the Canadian bike industry.

Since 2001, when the BTAC board of directors took over management of the association and started producing ExpoCycle the event has annually climbed up the rankings in Tradeshow Week’s Top 50 Largest Canadian Shows. It started at number 40.

The 2005 ExpoCycle will be held September 16-18th at Place Bonaventure in Montreal, Quebec. The ExpoCycle Outdoor Demo Day will take place September 15th at Ski Bromont in Bromont, Quebec.
