CamelBak reintroduce the gel-insulated Podium Ice

CamelBak has reintroduced its Podium Ice bottle after a three year gap, improving it in the process.

Constructed with aerogel insulation, Podium Ice keeps water cold four times longer than standard sport bottles. The new Podium Ice features a higher flow rate and is easier to clean.

Podium Ice holds 21 ounces of fluid and is made from BPA-free TruTaste polypropylene. The bottle is also rotected by an antic-bacterial treatment.

Podium Ice features CamelBak’s proprietary Jet Valve technology. The recently redesigned, self-sealing Jet Valve nozzle has a larger diameter to deliver a higher flow rate and is removable to make cleaning easier. Greater bottle wall flexibility increases the flow rate and reduces the amount of pressure needed to activate the Jet Valve.

Podium Ice is available in three colours: Silver, Crimson and Electric Blue and retails for $25. The new Podium Ice was on display in CamelBak’s condo at PressCamp, Deer Valley, Utah.
