BikeBiz.com smashes online records

BikeBiz.com has broken its own online readership record again, hitting an all-time high of 91,506 unique visitors last month, according to Google Analytics.

This is a further boost from its previous high of 73,038 in April this year. Page views also hit 250,111 in July 2012.

Breaking news and the jobs section once again drove the growth, with in-depth interviews and features from BikeBiz magazine also popular areas of the site.

The traffic upswing comes at a time when interest in the cycle market is riding high. Following Bradley Wiggins’ historic Tour de France win, Team GB’s cyclists have been bringing in the medals at the London 2012 Olympics in front of millions. Cycle safety has become an ever more talked about issue too this year.

Those who register to BikeBiz.com can receive a daily newsletter in email form, as well as occasional newsflashes for when the most important news stories break.

BikeBiz is also growing fast across social networks, on Twitter, on LinkedIn and on Facebook.
