BikeBiz.com set for massive revamp

When Intent Media of Hertford bought Bike Biz in December last year the plan was to improve the magazine first. Now it’s the turn of the website.

The re-design will bring BikeBiz.com into the same style format as Intent Media’s other websites. Click here for an example of the Intent house-style: http://www.mcvuk.com/

Some of the site’s out-dated features will not be migrated to the new site.

BikeBiz.com can get in excess of 18, 000 ‘unique visitors’ each day and the sitsvac section of the site is already hugely popular but on the new site it will be even easier to advertise on the jobs board. Instead of emailing ad copy and being invoiced, job advertisers will be able to upload their own copy and pay by credit card. This will speed up the process, getting job ads on the site quicker than ever before.

Job seekers will be able to upload CVs and will be emailed when jobs meeting their listed criteria are posted to the site.

Visitors who register with the site will get ‘news flash’ emails sent to their inboxes. The passwords for the trade-only forum will remain the same as they are now.
