Bike.Rent Manager (BRM), the provider of bike rental management solutions, has announced the addition of four new team members, as well as a significant internal promotion.
Among the new talent are Sara Caballero, who is stepping into the role of sales account manager, and Yani Abdallah, who is joining as the latest support expert.
Caballero takes her multilingual knowledge of Spanish and English and past experience as the online retail manager at Eat Sleep Cycle.
She commented: “My ambition is to connect with new customers and nurture existing relationships across the globe to increase sales,” she explains, emphasising her dedication to BRM’s international expansion.”
Abdallah offers a fresh perspective from his past customer-centric positions.
Abdallah added: “My role is pivotal in ensuring our customers experience a seamless onboarding process. My background within the arts and festival sectors has equipped me with a unique perspective on customer engagement and satisfaction.”
Central to this announcement is the promotion of Jordan Edwards as manager of key accounts and strategic partnerships.
Edwards takes on the role after a stint of managing sales in the EMEA and APAC regions.
Following the announcement, Edwards said: “Witnessing BRM’s evolution firsthand, from a small team to a leader in bike rental management, has been a profoundly rewarding journey. I’m excited to steer our strategic partnerships and key accounts to new heights, contributing to our ambitious growth plans over the next few years.”
Further strengthening the engineering team are senior backend engineers Barry Pearce and Encarna Torres, whose technical expertise will support the company’s expanding infrastructure.
At the heart of BRM’s success is its CEO and founder, Doug Stoddart, who shared: “I am incredibly passionate about BRM, having literally written it myself from scratch 14 years ago in an industry that I love.
“I’m happy to say we’ve since handed software development over to brilliant software engineers with more expertise than myself! But what I’m even more passionate about is our company culture. Because we concentrate on bikes, we can hire people who know the bike industry from so many angles. We bring in expertise from retail, operations, customer service and more.
“Many of our team members have run their own bike shops or worked in the industry for multiple decades. I am so proud of our people. They have helped make BRM what it is today.”
