The latest version of the industry-funded cycle satnav app dropped today – it includes versions which mesh with the Apple Watch and Wahoo’s RFLKT. This untethers the app from smartphones and – for the Apple Watch – gives turn-by-turn directions via wrist buzzes.
The free Bike Hub cycling satnav app for iPhones and Androids finds quickest or quietest cycle routes in UK and Ireland. It also locates nearest bike shops and British Cycling Go Ride clubs. The app navigates on roads and cycle paths, including off-road cycleways. The app also features turn-by-turn navigation, with voice instructions and vibrating alerts.
The app is available for iOS and Android.
A "how to" video for the app shows the Apple Watch and RFLKT functionality in action, and is also embedded in the app itself.
