Giant Global Team Manager, Johan Lammerts has suspended two members of the Downhill team.
Rob Warner and American Myles Rockwell have been withdrawn from the first four World Cup Downhill races as a response to uncooperative behavior during a video shoot in Monterey, California.
The riders will be allowed to ride in national competitions and will participate in local promotions and events but cannot compete on the world stage for some months.
"We work hard to get the best from our downhill and cross country riders in everything the brand demands and it was disappointing to have this highly complex shoot disrupted by two mavericks," complained Lammerts
"The guys are still part of the Giant team and we see this as a measured response to the situation with which we were faced."
